SAFETY END MOVEMENT TIE DESCRIPTION
200mm safety end movement tie
Used over movement joints in brickwork or block work
Provides restraint in one direction while allowing movement in the other
Used in masonry walls to tie back structures and prevent vertical movement whilst allowing horizontal expansion and contraction
Tie body has a one plain end to slide into the bonding sleeve
The other end is predrilled for easy and simple fastening
Total length – 200mm
Manufactured from stainless steel for maximum strength and durability
Stainless steel so rust and corrosion resistance
DE-BONDNG SLEEVE DESCRIPTION
De-bonding sleeve for commercial or own individual home use
20mm x 120mm De-bonding sleeve
Used on plain ended wall ties at vertical movement joints that abut columns
The tie will restrain the masonry against lateral wind loads but the sleeve will allow the masonry to expand or contract
De-bonded ties should be installed with a 10mm gap at the end of the sleeve to allow for expansion of the masonry
Sleeves allow masonry to expand or contract when used with stainless steel frame cramps
Manufactured from plastic for maximum strength and durability
