CLECO PINS
Professional tool for commercial or occasional use
A very useful kit of temporary fasteners
Simply drill a hole in two panels and insert a pin using the pliers to provide a temporary fixing between the panels
Suitable for any car restoration project that requires panel repair
Used for sheet metal holding
The fastener can be removed and replaced as many times as necessary until the panel is finished
Then you can either put in a permanent fastener such as pop rivet or bolt, or the panel can be welded and the hole filled
This kit comes with 4 different size pins and 10 of each size (so 40 cleco pins in total)
Originally used in the aviation industry these pins have become very popular for all kinds of sheet metal work, from temporarily assembling ducting to securing body panels

Ideal for when assembling fabricated panels on reskinning projects
The intergrips will clamp flat, curved or even pressed ribbed panels
These will hold any shape panel in place anywhere, either edge to edge or perfectly prior to butt welding
Small gap (1.0mm) allows full penetration of the weld
Simple and easy to use once the two sections are tack welded together, slacken the wing nut, remove the toggle bar and remove the clamp from the job and then finally weld the metal together
End outcome is a welded butt joint with very little dressing being necessary
