This specialist tool is required for Citroen flare forms.
Suitable for professional use or is a very nice tool for the enthusiast.
Tool can either be mounted in a conventional bench.
High quality and heavy duty construction. Made in England.
Includes punch and dies to produce Citroen form flares on 3.5mm and 4.5mm brake pipe.
Supplied in a metal storage case for easy storage and transportation.
Heat treated for longer life.
Brake tubing is held in split dies which are secured by an overhead locking screw mounted on a swing clamp.
To which then the mandrill is then positioned in its retainer and advance into the flaring tool position
NOTE We often get asked for just the dies for this tool for those who already a have a flaring tool. However just the dies will not work, to do it properly you require the whole Citroen tool. The citron flare requires more movement than the standard flaring tool can give and it requires much more force to form. If you fiddle about with the normal tool you can get a similar looking flare with these dies, but you cannot get a fully formed citron flare without the proper tool. With this tool you will get an accurate and fully formed Citroen flare every time.
