Indespension Brake Drum for 2900kg 3000kg 3500kg Trailer 6.5" PCD 5 Stud

This listing is for a single replacement brake drum hub.

Ideal to replace worn, damaged or corroded brake drums.

Will only replace brake drums with a casting reference of 4897. (normally engraved into the rear side of the brake drum)

Suitable for virtually all indespension trailers over 2900kg (does not fit Triple Axle Trailers)

Casting Reference 4897. 5 Stud Wheel fitment with 6.5" (165.1mm) pcd.

Requires a 65mm hub cap.

Suitable for use with M16 wheel studs.

230mm Drum Diameter (this is the internal size, 260mm overall diameter)

PLEASE NOTE: It is not normally possible to identify your brake drum without removing it first. For the same size brakes, there are many different drums, with different bearing sizes, bearing offsets etc...

Drum Identification - There are two ways to identify the right drum. The easiest way is to match the casting reference numbers. This number is cast or stamped on the inside of the drum or occasionally on the outside. Clean up your drum to find it and match the numbers. Once you have got the right casting, you just need to identify the correct wheel fitment. (PCD).

If you cannot match the casting numbers, the drum will need accurately measuring with a pair of vernier calipers. As the differences between fitments can be less than 1mm, a tape measure is not accurate enough. We can advise if needed.

Brakes are a safety system and it is essential you check the new part is the same as the old one before fitting.
