Hempel Silic One 77450 is a ground breaking biocide-free, high solid fouling release coating.

Based on silicone, a hydrogel microlayer provides a smooth, low friction surface that prevents organisms from attaching to the hull and propellers.

The service life of Silic One on the hull is 2 years.

Suitable for boats of glass fibre, steel, aluminium and plywood.

Very low friction - often gives a speed/fuel efficency increase over many traditional antifoul coatings.

For use below the waterline.

Colour - True Blue 30390.

Silic One requires a primer and a Silic one tie coat, depending on what you are applying it on to.

Coverage - approx 10m² per litre)

High gloss finish for a fantastic look.

Specifications
Drying time is typically 1 hour at 30°C or 4 hours at 10°C.
Fully cured after 2 days (30°C) or 5 days (10°C).
Must be applied above 10°C.
Can be applied with brush or roller. Pot life is 60 mins at 20°C
